I was watching The View today and they were discussing President Elect Barack Obama's moving into the White House and should the First Lady Elects mother move-in to help take care of the girls or not. At least I think that's the gist of the discussion, I myself was "mothering" at the time. The red-headed gal, (sorry gal, I'm not a regular enough to know your name) made this comment or something to the effect. "They say it takes a village to raise a child, but I say it takes your mother!"
So! Here's to my mother. Thank you for being my village! You listen to my complaints, my tears, my laughter, my issues (yes I do have them), and all my woes. You listen to any little thing I may want to share about my children, even their interesting poops, and you do it all because I know you love me. My hope in life is to be the same person to my children.
Thanks mom!
Girls............call your mom, and if you're not blessed to still have her, give a shout out.
She's listening!
