Sioux Lehner, a very dear woman, died this week. Sioux was so full of fire, the type of person that made you feel good just to be around her. She called her dance company "Fired Up" and the theme song was "Keep That Fire Burning" which radiated her love of dance and the girls she taught. The upbeat, toe-tapping song always makes me teary only because I think it says it all about life and the struggles we face. Somehow, I know Sioux's fire will burn again. Her life force was too strong to be forever snuffed out!
Thank you, Sioux! Thank you for all the love you showed my daughter, you will always be fondly remembered.
